Mopane Seed:

Botswana’s version of Juniper, this our very own, extraordinary discovery. It contains a-Pinene, an organic compound of the terpene class, and a key element which gives our gin it’s signature flavour.

Okavango Waters:

At the heart of our gins is the sand and papyrus filtered waters from the Tsutsubega floodplain, the result of a thousand-mile meander from the Okavango’s origins in the highlands of central Angola.

Marula Beer:

When the seasons allow, the women in the village of Gweta brew traditional beer “Bojalwa ja Morula”made from the Marula fruit. It's the magic ingredient in our initial distillation of our limited seasonal Marula Gin.

A DAILY INVITATION TO PAUSE.

we invite you to
slow down at sunset

Okavango Gin is synonymous with an Okavango Sundowner. A local tradition to end the day with a moment to appreciate our surroundings and our people when the sun sets.

Visitors to the Okavango have taken this ritual with them, because everywhere on earth has a
sunset and everyone needs a moment of appreciation.

Celebrate the day.
Celebrate the sunset.
Celebrate our wild places.
Celebrate
life-changing experiences.
Celebrate…
with an Okavango Gin.

the ritual

Our ritual traditionally begins 30mins before the sun sinks out of sight and we acknowledge the day that has been.

Pour the perfect gin cocktail. Refer to our Perfect Pour booklet for our signature cocktails.

Set your timer to 30 mins and disconnect.

Connect. Slow down and take the time to be present with the people, pets or surroundings.

Simple yet simply necessary. Make it a daily ritual and see what happens.
